Applicant companies having been in operation for at least twelve months can simultaneously apply for membership and authorization.
Applicant companies having been in operation for less than twelve months can apply for authorisation as soon as the first annual report has been filed.
Terms and Conditions for Employer and Industry membership
In order to become an Employer and Industry member in Competence Agencies of Sweden, the following terms and conditions must be met
- The activities are conducted as a legal person
- A Swedish establishment
comments: A Swedish establishment means an address in Sweden where the company is registered, cannot be a PO box address
- Conduct activities with employed personnel
- In the application (through signature) provide a written declaration that the company intends to follow the association’s statutes (in Swedish) with its ethical rules and the bylaws of Swedish Confederation of Enterprise.
- Enclose/attach documentation proving company’s valid certificate of incorporation, Swedish F-tax cert for corporate taxation, is registered for VAT* and as an employer in Sweden, which is done easiest by using the Swedish Tax Agency’s form, SKV 4820.
- Is covered by Competence Agencies of Sweden’s liability insurance or equivalent
- Enclose/attach documentation, which verifies that the company does not have taxes and fees in arrears and otherwise has orderly finances
- Sign a collective agreement for the agreement area in which the company operates
- That the company has participated in Competence Agencies of Sweden’s collective agreement training
- Applies at a minimum Competence Agencies of Sweden’s general terms of delivery
- Ensure subcontractors’ professionalism with regard to taxes and fees and liability insurance
- All companies in a group must be affiliated if they conduct activities within the areas of Competence Agencies of Sweden. These include outplacement, staffing services and recruitment. Exceptions can be made if approved by the board of Competence Agencies of Sweden and the Confederation of Swedish Enterprises . See Statutes §3 (in Swedish), Scope of membership
- Observe Competence Agencies of Sweden’s ethical rules
- Undergo Competence Agencies of Sweden’s review of the above in connection with admission
Terms and Conditions for Industry membership
In order to become an industry member in Competence Agencies of Sweden, the following terms and conditions must be met
- The activities are conducted as a legal person
- Provide a written declaration (through signature) that the company intends to follow the federation’s statuteswith its ethical rules the Swedish Confederation of Enterprise’s bylaws, (in Swedish) which is done in the application
- Enclose/attach documentation showing that the company has a valid certificate of incorporation and F-tax cert for corporate taxation, is registered for VAT and is registered as an employer in Sweden, which is done easiest by using the Swedish Tax Agency’s form, SKV 4820
- Is covered by Competence Agencies of Sweden’s liability insurance or equivalent
- Enclose/attach documentation, which verifies that the company does not have taxes and fees in arrears and otherwise has orderly finances.
- Concurrently sign a service agreement with Almega, or already has membership in another association in Almega
- Has undergone Competence Agencies of Sweden’s basic training in labour law
- Applies at a minimum Competence Agencies of Sweden’s general terms of delivery
- Ensure subcontractors’ professionalism with regard to taxes and fees and liability insurance
- All companies in a group must be affiliated if they conduct activities within the areas of Competence Agencies of Sweden. These include (staff)contract, job placement, career transition, staffing services and recruitment. Exceptions are only allowed if there are special reasons.
- Observe the ethical rules of Competence Agencies of Sweden
- Verify that the activities are conducted in applicant companies
- Undergo Competence Agencies of Sweden’s review of the above in connection with admission
Conditions for Authorization
Companies having been in operation for at least twelve months can apply for Authorisation. Read the conditions for Authorization and at www.tryggakompetensen.se you can find out if a company is authorised.
Membership fee
Industry and employer membership
The annual membership fee is on average 0.25 percent of the company’s payroll last year.
The fee includes membership of Competence Agencies of Sweden with service for employers, industry wide lobbying, and authorization as well as membership of the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise.
Example: If the annual payroll is 5 million SEK the annual fee is 15,600 SEK. If the annual payroll is 20 million SEK the annual fee is 54,800 SEK. The minimum fee is 11,450 SEK per year.
The annual fee is charged on two occasions during the year. The fee is largely tax deductible. Deduction and tax provisions are specified on the invoice.
